The delegation of Eldik Bank OJSC held a meeting with the State Development Bank of China

A bilateral meeting was held in Beijing between OJSC “Eldik Bank” and the China Development Bank (CDB), during which both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and expanding their partnership.

The meeting was attended by Ulanbek Nogayev, Chairman of the Management Board of OJSC “Eldik Bank”, and Mr. Tan Jun, Chairman of the Management Board of the China Development Bank. During the meeting, the parties reached agreements to begin work on opening new credit lines in three key areas:

• Support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs);
• Leasing financing;
• Implementation of sustainable development projects — including mini-hydropower plants, solar power stations, and other renewable energy initiatives (RE).

Special attention was given to the development of green financing. Eldik Bank reaffirmed its strategic focus on expanding programs in the field of renewable energy and sustainable lending.

“We highly value the trust of our Chinese partners. The launch of new credit lines will create even more opportunities for Kyrgyzstan in the development of business and the green economy. We intend to continue actively supporting initiatives aimed at the country’s sustainable economic growth,” said Ulanbek Nogayev.

In turn, the China Development Bank gave a positive assessment of Eldik Bank’s successful utilization of the credit line opened in 2024.
